Job summary

Liberty Diversified International (LDI) seeks a skilled Machine Operator II for Safco Products in Milford, IA. You will operate and set up fabrication equipment, read prints, perform quality checks, and help teammates troubleshoot to ensure high-quality parts for final assembly.

The role is 2nd shift, 3:30pm–1:30am, with potential overtime; base pay $23.50/hr plus $3.00/hr shift differential and a $2,500 sign-on bonus for eligible offers extended after July 1, 2026.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in metal/wood fabrication with machine work.
• Able to read prints and measurement devices to 1/16 inch.
• Proficient in data entry and basic computer use.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fabrication equipment per job specs.
• Perform first-article and in-process quality checks.
• Enter production metrics and monitor performance.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support team.
• Train and guide others in skilled areas.
• Maintain clean, safe work area.
