Job summary

Liberty Diversified International's Safco division in Milford, IA, is seeking a Welder II to join the 2nd shift. You will set up and perform welding operations to meet cosmetic quality standards while maintaining safety and productivity on the production floor.

The role requires blueprint reading, MIG and robotic welding, finishing, data entry, and the ability to review inspection results. A strong math and computer skills background is helpful.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 3+ years of weld experience
• Reading blueprints and using inspection equipment
• Understanding basic mechanical/manufacturing techniques
• Typing, printing and data entry skills
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide)

Responsibilities

• Setup and perform welding per blueprint (spot, robotic, MIG)
• Finish product to meet workmanship standards (grinding/sanding)
• Enter labor data into the computer system
• Use inspection equipment and review blueprints for quality
• Maintain a clean workstation and production floor
• Follow health and safety policies and guidelines
• Other duties as assigned
