Job description

2nd Shift Production Technician

$20 - $25 per hour | Bloomington, MN | On-site | Consulting

3 month contract to hire with full benefits on us!

A bit about us:

This is a 2nd shift role with the hours from 2 p.m. - 11 p.m. Our client is a privately held precision manufacturer based in Minnesota, operating multiple facilities dedicated to the production of specialty flexible circuits, rigid flex printed circuit boards, and custom engineered heating elements. Founded over four decades ago, this company has built a reputation for delivering mission-critical components to some of the most technically demanding industries in existence, including medical devices, aerospace, defense, and analytical laboratory instrumentation.

The products manufactured here are not commodity items. They are highly engineered solutions where accuracy, repeatability, and attention to detail directly affect the performance of life-saving devices, defense systems, and advanced scientific equipment. The people on the production floor are central to that mission, and this company knows it.

With a team-oriented culture, stable ownership, and a genuine sense of community across their workforce, this is a place where skilled production employees are valued and recognized for the precision work they do every day.

Why join us?

This company has built something rare in manufacturing: a floor culture where people actually enjoy coming to work. Employee tenure speaks for itself, with many team members staying for a decade or more. That kind of retention does not happen by accident.

Here is what makes this opportunity stand out:

• Meaningful work — the components produced here end up in medical devices, aerospace systems, and defense electronics where performance cannot fail
• Family-like team environment with approachable leadership that communicates openly and treats people with respect
• Scholarship program available to employees' children and grandchildren, reflecting a genuine investment in families, not just workers
• Competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental insurance, 401(k), paid vacation and holidays, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, life and disability insurance, and an employee referral bonus program
• Opportunities to grow within a company that promotes from within and rewards reliability and craftsmanship
• Clean, organized work environment with an emphasis on safety and quality at every station
