Job summary

Michelman, Inc. seeks a Team Leader, Production for the 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) in Cincinnati, OH. You will supervise production tasks, coach operators, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity across the plant. You may lead in the absence of the Production Supervisor and support continuous improvement efforts.

You will manufacture cold blend, emulsion center, and reactor batches, and may cover wastewater treatment or packaging areas as needed, while enforcing SOPs and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of hands-on chemical manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and shift supervision.
• Experience coordinating with Maintenance, Quality, or Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as equipment and area owner; assume duties in absence of Shift Supervisor.
• Assign shift personnel to work areas and manage priorities.
• Complete transactional work orders and material movements in ERP.
• Ensure readiness of utilities and operate reactors, kettles, mixers, and packaging lines.
• Lead safety, quality, and housekeeping initiatives on shift.
• Record process data and monitor performance metrics.
