Job summary

Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Production Team Lead for the 2nd shift to guide a manufacturing line, manage staff, and uphold safety and quality standards. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and emphasizes efficient scheduling, policy enforcement, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of manufacturing experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to train others. Local candidates in Hillside, IL are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to train other employees.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Spanish bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coach safety, quality and productivity to meet objectives through standardized work.
• Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Maintain time and attendance records and monitor staffing levels to meet daily work requirements.
• Provide key input for performance appraisals.
• Conduct Behavior Based Safety observations and Toolbox Talks.
• Ensure the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality product.
• Be responsible for production output and product quality.
• Plan, organize, direct and run day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
• Create a daily scheduling plan in partnership with the Supervisor based on the weekly schedule from Supply Chain.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and metrology to keep equipment in good working order.
• Engage in problem solving and troubleshooting of process equipment and product performance.
