Job summary

Automation Displays in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a Team Lead to oversee daily production activities, ensure safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery targets, and serve as the frontline leader in the manufacturing operation. You will coordinate workflow with the High Volume Supervisor, mentor employees, and promote accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Leadership or informal leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing or automation environments preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate employees in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with manufacturing/production reporting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of assigned production employees.
• Communicate production priorities, schedules, and expectations to team members.
• Monitor workflow and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to established standards.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding production questions and issues.
• Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure products are manufactured in accordance with customer specifications and quality standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting production, equipment, and workflow issues.
• Escalate concerns to the Supervisor as appropriate.
• Train, coach, and support employees on processes and standard work.
• Monitor employee performance and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
• Ensure accurate completion of production documentation and records.
• Support inventory accuracy and proper material handling practices.
• Participate in daily production meetings and communicate key information to team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform production work as necessary to support operational requirements.
