Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 3+ years in manufacturing, and proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and SAP ECC/MRP modules. Local residency is required within 50 miles of South Milwaukee.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Residence within 50 miles of South Milwaukee, WI site.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office products.
• Proficiency in SAP ECC/MRP planning and/or purchasing modules.

Responsibilities

• Assist department supervisor in maintaining workflow, assigning work, and instructing other employees.
• Ensure all area employees are trained for assigned tasks, including Safety, PPE, Production and Process awareness.
• Communicate department objectives, priorities, and standards to hourly workforce.
• Lead Start of Shift meetings to cover Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Takttime concerns.
• Field questions from hourly workforce and reallocate resources as needed.
• Coordinate area work activities with the supervisor and keep them informed of issues.
