Job summary

Perdue Farms Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead hourly teams across receiving, processing, production, and shipping, ensuring products move efficiently while upholding safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

You will mentor associates, implement lean improvements, and coordinate with maintenance and other departments to meet production goals and cost targets.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a manufacturing environment with 1+ year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on associate development.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control processes and compliance standards (e.g. ISO, OSHA).
• Willingness to learn lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all associates.
• Lead quality, food safety and lean initiatives to drive productivity.
• Supervise daily production activities to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize equipment use.
• Provide updates to management on production status and opportunities for improvement.
