Job summary

JOHNSON SERVICE GROUP (JSG) seeks a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor for a 6-month temporary engagement in the Greater Valencia area. This on-site role offers potential conversion to full-time after six months and requires leading daily manufacturing operations across multiple workstations, including clean room environments.

You will supervise production staff, optimize workflow, ensure on-time delivery, uphold quality standards, and drive continuous improvement through Lean and Kaizen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5–7 years related experience or equivalent.
• Associates or B.S. in supply chain, business, or related field highly desired.
• Minimum of five (5) years of manufacturing experience, preferably in aerospace or medical device industry.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience managing ERP systems (Made-2-Manage).

Responsibilities

• Establish daily production priorities and allocate labor resources to meet demand and schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate production across multiple workstations to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
• Lead daily production meetings, shift handoffs, and communicate safety, quality, delivery, and performance objectives.
• Monitor production performance, OTD metrics, and address risks with recovery plans as needed.
• Collaborate with Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve constraints.
