Job summary

ABB's NEMA Motors Division is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in St. Louis, MO. You will lead daily production operations, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with multiple teams. The role requires 3+ years of supervision and strong knowledge of MES/SAP systems.

The position supports onsite work from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and offers opportunities to grow within a global motor manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of production supervision or team leadership in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment operation, and maintenance principles.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, continuous improvement and root cause solving.
• Proficiency reading drawings, work instructions, and production specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable with MES/SAP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations; supervise and coordinate team activities to meet targets.
• Manage schedules, provide backup supervision, and support business needs.
• Enforce safety, quality standards; investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and manage the production team through coaching, reviews, and payroll support.
• Drive operational excellence by tracking KPIs and coordinating maintenance schedules.
• Support root cause investigations and collaborate with Quality, Planning, Maintenance, Engineering, and Materials teams.
