Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift at our Sioux Center, IA facility. You will oversee the production process, ensure safety and USDA standards, and guide a team of hourly workers toward on-time, quality output.

You will train and coach staff, monitor yields and efficiency, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining a safe and compliant environment. The role requires flexibility for long hours and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education with 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience leading frontline production employees and training staff.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills to improve safety and quality.

Responsabilités

• Safety audits and HACCP/USDA compliance on the production floor.
• Maintain product quality and train staff on SOPs including lock-out/tag-out.
• Track yields, efficiencies, and variances; collaborate with Operations Managers to improve workflows and costs.
• Lead hourly production employees; conduct monthly line meetings and daily floor walks.
• Analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements to raise efficiency and quality.
