Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Production Supervisor (2nd shift) in Georgetown, Delaware to lead hourly teams on the production floor, oversee safety, quality and efficiency, and partner with maintenance and quality teams to meet production goals.

You will focus on coaching operators, improving workflows, and sustaining a compliant, productive environment while upholding USDA and QA standards. The role offers strong growth and leadership training within a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2–3 years in manufacturing with supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s/Associate degree candidates with manufacturing experience are considered.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize equipment use.
• Maintain production records and report status and performance to management.
• Liaise with engineering, quality assurance and supply chain as needed.
• Support safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
