Job summary

Pacific Cheese is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift (2pm start, Mon–Fri with occasional overtime) in Reno, NV. You will supervise the Production Department, ensure safety, GMP compliance, and meet daily production objectives.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in production with supervisory experience; an Associates degree is preferred. You will train staff, coordinate with maintenance and other departments, and help maintain quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred.
• 3–5 years relevant work experience; 2–3 years supervisory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of Production Department for the shift.
• Explain, train and cross-train staff on SSOPs, GMPs and Safe Work Practices.
• Enforce SOPs, GMPs and Safe Work Practices.
• Schedule staffing to meet efficiency goals (labor cost per pound).
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure lines meet quality standards and address issues.
