Job summary

Upstate Niagara Cooperative is seeking a Cheese Processing Supervisor to lead daily Cheese Room operations, ensuring safe, efficient production and high-quality cheese products. The role requires oversight across Processing/Production, Maintenance coordination, and Quality Control, with eventual flexibility to cover 2nd and 3rd shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in Cheese Room to ensure safe, high-quality production.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, QA and Filling Room for smooth production flow.
• Lead ongoing training, onboarding and coaching across shifts.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, formulations, and processing standards.
• Support safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance at all times.
• Plan weekend coverage and staffing to meet production goals.
• Drive continuous improvement through CI initiatives and data analysis.
