Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations, lead a manufacturing team, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in poultry processing facilities in Green Forest, Arkansas.

You will review production schedules, staff shifts, mentor Team Members, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with USDA and company standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Poultry processing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with SAP or similar manufacturing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review daily production schedules and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Ensure all production positions are properly staffed before line start-up.
• Oversee Team Member warm-up exercises, job rotations, and ergonomic initiatives.
• Monitor machinery and equipment performance to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Verify all workstations meet USDA and company inspection requirements.
• Promote a culture of safety through daily engagement and monthly safety meetings.
• Ensure accurate product coding, inventory rotation, and shipment accuracy.
• Communicate company policies, benefits, and compensation information to Team Members as needed.
• Lead, motivate, and develop Team Members to build a high-performing workforce.
• Provide training, coaching, counseling, and performance feedback to Team Members.
• Partner with other supervisors and departments to resolve operational challenges and improve efficiency.
• Maintain records of reworked, returned, or non-conforming products.
• Reinforce quality standards and provide continuous education on food safety and product quality.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational excellence.
