Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience leading people in manufacturing.
• HS diploma plus two years of specialized training or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of gauging, measurement and quality practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication with managers and associates.
• Ability to manage several projects at once with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Put safety first and never pass on a defect.
• Work like a pit crew and continuously improve processes.
• Supervise production associates and manage their schedules.
• Train and develop your team and address performance issues.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and provide technical support.
• Lead the team in continuous improvement activities.
• Keep personnel and assets safe and secure during your shift.
• Enforce policies and procedures; manage timecards and call-ins when the shift manager is out.
• Take ownership of your work and seek improvements.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and respectful workplace.
