Job summary

Race Winning Brands in Mentor, Ohio, is seeking a Machine Operator for 2nd shift to set up and run CNC machines from work orders and drawings. You will work with your Lead and Supervisor, ensure parts meet standards, and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers and digital height stands.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Put safety first and never pass on a defect, no matter what leaves your hands.
• Work like a pit crew and bring innovation to finding better, faster and smarter ways to work.
• Set up and run machines from work orders, drawings, templates and layouts.
• Operate equipment correctly and safely, following work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Check your work and make simple CNC machine and tool offset adjustments.
• Let your Lead know when a tool or machine needs more complex adjustments.
• Use small hand tools in your daily work.
• Keep your area clean, including wiping down machines, sweeping and clearing trash, scrap, skids and boxes.
• Take ownership of your work and look for ways to make it better.
• Help keep our workplace safe, organized and respectful.
