Job summary

NEXXTA is a U.S.-based manufacturer seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead hourly teams in a fast-paced injection molding environment, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production. You will train and evaluate staff, troubleshoot equipment and processes, implement continuous improvement, and maintain accurate shift reporting in alignment with ISO/TS standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent (2-year program) required.
• 3 to 5 years of Shift Supervisor/Lead experience required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience working in Plastic Injection Molding Facility preferred.
• Basic Processing Skills and general knowledge of plastics.
• Experience with ISO/TS 16949 or quality policies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees plant production within designated area by training, evaluating and supervising hourly employees.
• Assists in troubleshooting processes, equipment, tooling and material issues related to production.
• Basic start up and shut down of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Ensures compliance with quality policies and maintains work instructions and SOPs.
• Conducts periodic safety reviews and meetings for assigned employees.
• Maintains accurate shop floor reporting and inventory control on the manufacturing floor.
• Promotes continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen within the department.
