Job summary

Akro-Mils seeks a Production Supervisor II to lead daily production on assigned lines in a fast-paced injection-molding environment. You will supervise packaging operators, material handlers, and production staff, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree preference, 3+ years of supervisory experience, and a Lean/CI background. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day production lines and shifts in the injection molding department.
• Monitor production to meet quality, safety, cost, and delivery targets.
• Escalate maintenance or process issues to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Lead and develop production staff through coaching and training.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and company policies.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, planning, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Complete shift reports and communicate performance metrics.
