Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Production Supervisor (E-Coat) for the 2nd shift in our Waukesha, WI facility. The role oversees the production workforce to meet safety, quality and cost targets while coordinating across shifts.

The position requires strong supervisory experience in manufacturing, with a focus on Lean/Six Sigma, SAP literacy and continuous improvement. Salary ranges from $86,000 to $126,000 per year depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• One (1) year of Supervisor or Team Lead experience.
• Five (5) years of manufacturing experience.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position; no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc.
• No relocation assistance; within 50-mile radius; certain military exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Staff, develop and maintain an effective workforce to meet department goals.
• Oversee employee selection, training, development and non-union supervision.
• Set personal and departmental performance goals and objectives.
• Support plant safety objectives to improve incident rate and OSHME score.
• Drive employee involvement and communications to reach operating targets.
• Plan, direct and control work centers to optimize manpower, equipment and materials within budget.
• Lead cross-shift handoffs; drive continuous improvement and staffing alignment.
• Maintain both quality and quantity of parts per engineering specs; minimize scrap and rework.
• Analyze operating reports and take corrective action to control costs and expenses.
• Prepare budgets for controllable expenses for the department.
• Implement modern manufacturing methods to reduce costs and improve quality.
• Identify training needs and coordinate with HR; participate as trainer as needed.
• Advocate for safety and environmental initiatives and Lean/Six Sigma principles.
• Ensure SAP systems are maintained and used effectively.
• Lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and database-driven decisions across shifts.
