Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division seeks a Production Supervisor (E-Coat) on the 2nd shift at the Waukesha, WI facility. The role emphasizes staffing, training, safety, and lean improvements to meet plant goals. You will manage costs, ensure quality, and lead cross-shift handoffs while driving continuous improvement.

You will implement modern manufacturing methods, develop staff, and maintain safety standards while leveraging SAP and MS Excel for planning and reporting. Relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of Supervisor or Team Lead experience.
• 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• No immigration sponsorship or STEM OPT support.
• No relocation assistance; within 50 miles preferred; military exemptions apply.

Responsibilities

• Staff, develop and maintain an effective workforce to meet department goals.
• Oversee employee selection, training and development; manage non-union status.
• Set personal and departmental performance goals and objectives.
• Support plant safety objectives to improve incident rate and OSHME score.
• Improve employee involvement and communications to hit operating objectives.
• Direct work centers to maximize utilization of staff, equipment and materials within budget.
• Own department performance; facilitate cross-shift handoffs and continuous improvement.
• Ensure quality and quantity meet engineering specs; minimize scrap and rework.
• Analyze operating reports and take corrective action to control costs.
• Prepare budgets for controllable expenses and share budget data with supervisor.
• Implement modern manufacturing methods; stay current with new technologies.
• Identify training needs and partner with HR to address them; participate as trainer.
• Advocate for Safety and Environmental initiatives; ensure SAP usage and Lean principles.
