Job summary

Chromalloy in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing production teams and drive daily execution across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance.

You will assign and execute production schedules, develop employees, improve processes, and ensure customer commitments are met, while fostering accountability and continuous improvement. The role emphasizes Lean, 5S, and teamwork to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience; leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and shop floor processes.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability.
• Ability to balance employee development with operational results.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals
• Assign, prioritize, and execute daily and weekly production schedules
• Coordinate with Production Control, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and other departments to meet customer commitments
• Ensure materials, supplies, equipment, and staffing are available to support production plans
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, routing instructions, and job orders for employees
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and company requirements
• Maintain and improve 5S, housekeeping, and workplace organization standards
• Train, coach, mentor, and develop employees to build capability and performance
• Manage employee performance, attendance, accountability, and development
• Partner with Human Resources on employee relations, corrective actions, and talent development
• Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Drive Lean, continuous improvement, and productivity initiatives
• Monitor production metrics and communicate performance results to leadership
• Maintain accurate production, labor, and operational records
• Support customer requirements, audits, and delivery commitments
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning activities
