Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead and oversee manufacturing operations, driving safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality parts. You will mentor production staff, manage schedules, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain Repairman Certificate within 2-4 months of employment or have the credentials (A&P license) to supervise maintenance activity.
• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of quality systems, continuous improvement methodologies, and production processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with production reporting and performance management tools.
• Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Four (4) years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Practical knowledge of aircraft components, machining, welding, inspection and related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of quality products.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to production employees while driving operational excellence and compliance.
• Plan daily and weekly production schedules and ensure goals are met.
• Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to meet objectives.
• Ensure materials, tooling, and supplies are available to support production.
• Maintain records and support QA and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote 5S and safe work practices and maintain equipment in good condition.
