Summary:

To serve as a Production Supervisor in all aspects of production needs in accordance with customer and company requirements. Assumes responsibility for directing manufacturing to ensure efficient operations of all manufacturing activities. Maintains a focus on customer service, with quality and on-time delivery as priorities. Directs and manages manufacturing groups (assembly, soldering, SMT, test, etc.) and demonstrates a commitment to employee involvement.

Responsibilities/Principal Duties:

1. Manage and monitor workflow to meet or exceed expected delivery dates, achieving 100% on-time delivery.
2. Monitor and evaluate the efficiency of manufacturing processes using time studies and process evaluations.
3. Troubleshoot and adjust SMT machines as needed to restore proper operation.
4. Enforce operational policies and procedures set by management.
5. Assign and oversee tasks to personnel based on daily requirements.
6. Identify additional training needs for production staff and recommend solutions to management.
7. Monitor, evaluate, and report staffing needs to management.
8. Administer daily production reports.
9. Communicate regularly with employees to keep production on schedule and achieve 100% on-time delivery.
10. Maintain a clean and orderly manufacturing floor, ensuring housekeeping procedures are followed.
11. Administer disciplinary actions when necessary, reporting major incidents to the Production Manager.
12. Assess employee productivity and efficiency.
13. Request supplies, tools, and equipment as needed from management.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
