Job summary

Nature's Bakery, part of the Mars family, seeks a 2nd shift manufacturing associate in Salt Lake City, UT. You will measure and mix with precision, operate equipment, and support batch production in a fast-paced snack food facility.

You will work 6:00pm-6:30am on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, with focus on safety, quality, ERP-based material handling, and teamwork. Eligible employees receive medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) company match, paid time off, holidays, disability, life insurance,

Qualifications

• Ability to work in both cold and warm environments.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Physical strength to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with ERP systems for material handling.
• Read, speak, and write English.
• Own or be willing to acquire steel toe boots.
• Team-oriented with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Measure and Mix with precision, ensuring every batch meets our high standards.
• Operating Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate machinery and equipment, including basic machine operation, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Championing Safety and Quality: You'll be a key player in maintaining food safety and quality by following strict guidelines and practices.
• Managing Materials: Utilize an ERP system for material handling, including refilling bulk containers, completing batching paperwork, and supporting bulk bag bailing.
• Working as a Team: Collaborate with team members and uphold company values such as respect, integrity, and teamwork.
• Work with and sanitize heavy machinery and equipment.
