Nature's Bakery, part of the Mars family, operates a food manufacturing facility in Salt Lake City, UT, seeking a reliable batch operator for the 2nd shift (6:00pm–6:30am) on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork while handling materials with ERP and operating HMI interfaces.

You will measure mixes, run equipment, and ensure batch integrity while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in both cold and warm environments.
• Thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with or ability to perform minor equipment changeovers.
• Proficiency using ERP systems for material handling and HMI for ingredient delivery.
• Team-oriented with respect for company values.
• Ability to complete batching and traceability paperwork accurately.
• Own or be willing to acquire steel toe boots.
• Read, speak, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Measure and Mix with precision, ensuring batch consistency.
• Operate equipment safely and perform basic machine operations.
• Champion safety and quality by following guidelines and procedures.
• Manage materials using ERP, refill bulk containers, and complete batching paperwork.
• Collaborate with team members and uphold company values such as respect and integrity.
• Work with and sanitize heavy machinery and equipment.
