The position requires a High School Diploma or 1–2 years in a mechanical trade, basic math, and English proficiency, with opportunities for training and growth within a 150-year-old company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, or 1–2 years in a mechanical trade.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Ability to pass the Pro A qualification test.
• Use of micrometer or hand caliper.
• Basic mathematical and problem solving skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Produce parts/products that meet quality requirements.
• Proficient in using gauges/tools to monitor quality.
• Perform minor adjustments per work center tasks.
• Maintain operations per work center schedules.
• Maximize machine efficiency and throughput; seek help for failures.
• Collaborate with team to meet objectives.
• Provide cross training and support to coworkers.
• Operate safely and follow safety policies.
• Keep work area neat and orderly; document data accurately.
• Assist in essential operations to meet production needs.
