Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is hiring an entry-level Operator to join our production team in New York (Bayport) on the 2nd shift (Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm). You’ll operate and monitor production equipment, follow safety and quality procedures, and help ensure every item leaving the line meets our standards.

This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. You will assist with loading/unloading, basic troubleshooting, data recording, and daily quality checks while

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment and inventory processes.
• Comfortable using computers or tablets.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Basic math and mechanical understanding.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Team-oriented and dependable.
• Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment
• Load, unload, clean, and adjust machinery
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance
• Accurately measure and scale ingredients
• Complete quality checks and record data
• Keep your work area clean
• Follows safety rules, SOP’s and cGMP guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned
