Teknor Apex SC Plant in Fountain Inn, SC is seeking a production operator to support our manufacturing process. You will follow batch instructions, monitor equipment, and ensure safety rules are practiced while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Color vision required to distinguish colors during production.
• Fine motor skills and manual dexterity are essential for handling small components.
• Ability to read and follow batch instructions and operate equipment safely.
• Work Keys certification is preferred as part of the production environment.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with and practice all company safety rules.
• Ensure all necessary equipment is running.
• Check schedule for product to be run.
• Read batch card for instructions.
• Check hopper to make certain proper compound is being used.
• Make sure proper tooling is in the extruder.
• Check heaters and cooling fans to ensure proper operation.
• Monitor laser mike to keep product in specifications.
• Change reels of hose and store them in designated area.
• Maintain a clean, neat and organized work area.
