Job summary

Teknor Apex Company in Fountain Inn, SC is hiring for a Unit Operator - Plastics on the 3rd shift (10:40pm–7:00am). In this on-site role you will operate equipment for melt mixing, handle raw materials, and support packaging and console operations according to production schedules.

Typical duties include ensuring equipment safety, following processing instructions, communicating issues to leads, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents and apply common sense understanding.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret data.
• Strong work ethic and regular attendance in a continuous production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate safely in a warm environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plastics processing equipment per schedule.
• Weigh materials and manage raw materials per Teknor Apex program.
• Communicate processing information and issues to leads and supervisors.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and support overtime as needed.
