Job summary

O&K American Corp is seeking a Production Operator for the 2nd shift in Seymour, IN. The role involves descaling coil, coating steel wire/rod, and supporting annealing and draw processes within a safety-conscious team.

Responsibilities include loading, inspection, crane operation, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Candidates should read and follow procedures, have basic computer skills, and be prepared for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Overhead crane experience preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Descale coil and coat steel wire/rod per procedure.
• Read and follow production procedures for CH and related processes.
• Loaders duties include wire drawing, cleaning, shipping and annealing sequences.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely.
• Keep work area clean and organized per 5S program.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
