Job summary

O&K American Corp in Seymour, IN is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to size down wire/rod per customer specs and support precision manufacturing. You will operate and maintain press and related machinery, load coils with overhead cranes, enter data into the AS400 production screen, and conduct quality checks while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Experience with machine inspection equipment preferred.
• Overhead crane experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow all production procedures for W/D.
• Operate machines safely and perform general maintenance.
• Use overhead cranes to load and unload coils.
• Inspect coils and check conformance.
• Enter data into AS400 production screen.
• Calibrate tools and set dies; print tags.
• Follow basic safety procedures.
• Identify nonconformances and take action.
