Job summary

Monarch Steel Company, Inc. is seeking an Operator I to support general maintenance and production operations under supervision. The role requires basic equipment understanding and the ability to perform related tasks to maintain efficient lines.

Essential duties include adhering to safety policies, recording product identification, reconciling coil identity, and ensuring proper loading of material into production equipment. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Industry knowledge and experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Embraces the 1 TEAM culture.
• Wear proper protective equipment and follow Safety Policy and OSHA standards.
• Maintain a safe and healthful work environment by practicing safe work habits and housekeeping.
• Verify and record product identification.
• Reconcile coil identity for production and load coil.
• Ensure material is loaded onto lines and fed into production equipment per safety and quality procedures.
• Make necessary adjustments to ensure material tracking.
• Perform in-process visual inspection.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
