Job summary

Commerce ISD in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Production Line Lead to coordinate daily line activities, coach team members, and drive measurable results on the floor. You will monitor metrics, adjust staffing, and ensure safety, quality, and adherence to standards while helping to establish routines and a strong team culture on the second shift.

Ideal candidates bring bi-lingual Spanish/English abilities, experience in food manufacturing or related operations, and a track record of improving

Qualifications

• Previous Production Lead Experience
• Bi-lingual language including Spanish/English
• Previous training experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with managing production metrics
• Experience with USDA and SQF, both preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Must pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities for an assigned line or work area
• Help ensure production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and consistently
• Track and communicate key production metrics and performance measurements
• Effectively manage and adjust daily employee rosters and line assignments
• Coach employees on performance expectations and reinforce accountability
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and highly engaged work environment
• Support onboarding and training of new and existing employees
• Use training methodologies to help employees learn jobs safely and consistently
