Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift at the St James, MN facility. You will oversee the entire production process, direct hourly workers, and ensure safety, quality, and USDA compliance on a daily basis.

This role emphasizes coaching, training, and leading a team to meet production targets while controlling costs and maintaining high standards. A sign-on bonus is offered; relocation may be provided to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated strong communication and leadership to mentor hourly staff.
• Ability to analyze processes, solve problems, and drive improvements in a fast-paced plant.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production on 2nd shift to meet targets and quality standards.
• Lead and train production employees; conduct monthly line meetings.
• Ensure safety, HACCP/USDA compliance, and proper lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Monitor yields, efficiencies, and variances to optimize line performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-reduction efforts.
