Job summary

Plug Power, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in the Manufacturing department. The role directs the workflow of the manufacturing team to ensure timely assembly with high quality standards and strong leadership, coaching, and communication across diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
• Manufacturing industry experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing best practices and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct the workflow of the manufacturing team to meet production deliverables.
• Provide ongoing training and communicate expectations to team members.
• Set team goals and improve quality and throughput metrics.
• Collaborate with Production Manager and Cell Leaders to ensure performance.
• Lead 5S efforts and enforce safe work practices per OSHA guidelines.
• Cross-train team members and support assembly procedures development.
• Assist in performance evaluations and disciplinary matters with HR.
