Job summary

ATC Drivetrain LLC is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee up to 120 production employees, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. The role requires strong leadership, coaching, and coordination with Human Resources for staffing and performance management.

You will drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing methods, maintain training records, and ensure adherence to TS16949 and ISO 14001 standards across the area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum three years’ leadership or supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Supervisory experience, higher education/training; and/or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• An understanding of concepts for lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises up to 120 employees and is accountable for the activities in their area of responsibility.
• Coaches, directs, monitors, and regularly and timely evaluates performance of employees.
• Conducts coaching or disciplinary actions with employees, working in coordination with Human Resources.
• Responsible for the safety of employees, processes, equipment and housekeeping of the area.
• Responsible for ensuring adherence to TS16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Manages and approves hourly employee attendance records for payroll and time-off requests.
• Organizes work for smooth operations based on production needs and line efficiency.
• Drives continuous improvement using lean manufacturing techniques.
