Job summary

Dessert Holdings seeks a Production Shift Manager for the 2nd shift in Pembroke, NC. You will lead the shift, mentor supervisors, and drive safety, quality, and productivity to meet KPI targets.

You will implement standard work, utilize continuous improvement tools, and develop your team to achieve zero accidents, zero defects, and zero downtime across the line. Working with plant leadership, you will translate goals into actionable plans, cross-train staff, and ensure on-time delivery while

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven manufacturing leadership with process-oriented operations.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma knowledge preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel and able to read/write reports.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop first-level supervisors and staff.
• Ensure safety programs are followed and promote safety culture.
• Direct and hire a high-performing, diverse team.
• Translate plant goals to all levels and align performance data.
• Identify and mitigate schedule disruptions.
• Define actions to improve safety, efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Achieve KPIs for on-time delivery, productivity, and quality.
• Ensure cross-training and staff development.
