Job summary

Dessert Holdings, the parent company behind brands including Atlanta Cheesecake Company, is seeking a Production Shift Manager for the 2nd shift in Pembroke, NC. You will lead production supervisors, drive safety culture, and push for zero defects and downtime while developing the team.

Responsibilities include managing performance, ensuring on-time delivery, and implementing process improvements across the value chain. A strong Lean/Six Sigma mindset is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership in a related manufacturing environment.
• Proven manufacturing leadership with process-oriented operations.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma training/certifications preferred.
• High school diploma; technical/engineering degree an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the second shift by directing production supervisors and teams.
• Drive safety, quality, and productivity improvements across the shift.
• Ensure on-time delivery and alignment with plant goals and KPI targets.
• Develop staff through coaching, mentoring, and cross-training.
• Translate plant goals into actionable plans and monitor performance data.
• Foster continuous improvement and elimination of losses in the value chain.
• Maintain compliance with safety programs and standards.
