Job summary

HEXPOL Compounding Americas seeks a production supervisor to lead the Production Department, ensuring day-to-day execution and consistent operation of all equipment. You will drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery while promoting Lean practices.

The role covers a 2nd shift, supervisory duties, and cross-functional collaboration with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence across the site.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred; experience may substitute education.
• 5 years production/manufacturing experience preferred.
• 3 years supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook) skills.
• Cooperation, collaboration, and organization are essential.
• Detail-oriented, energetic, self-motivated and reliable.
• Ability to supervise, coach and develop associates.
• Ability to interact well with diverse personalities in supervision.
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of the designated shift and act as technical resource.
• Ensure safety, on-time delivery, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Verify daily labor times and participate in cross-functional teams.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing principles and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Lead performance reviews and scheduling to meet production and shipment needs.
• Engage in continuous improvement projects and travel as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
