Job summary

HEXPOL Compounding Americas is seeking a Production Supervisor to guide the overall production process and personnel in a Tennessee facility. You will ensure the production schedule is met and collaborate with multiple departments to satisfy customer needs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and at least seven years of leadership in a manufacturing setting, with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; experience may substitute for education.
• Seven (7) years of leadership/supervisory experience in a production setting, preferably in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 preferred.
• Proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient computer systems skills - MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• High concentration, energy, self-motivation, and self-reliance.
• Ability to coach and develop Associates; interact well with all personality types.
• Strong collaboration and team-building skills; analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to handle personal and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and guidance across the production process and personnel.
• Ensure production schedule targets are met and collaborate with departments to satisfy customer needs.
• Oversee scheduling and coordinate with buyers to control raw material inventory.
• Communicate with customers regarding issues, defects, or process changes.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Travel to other HEXPOL locations or customers as required.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
