Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead a team of hourly employees and oversee daily manufacturing operations. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives while fostering employee engagement and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include supervising day‑to‑day operations, coordinating workflows, and partnering with HR on staffing, training, and onboarding.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with ERP or manufacturing systems; Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop 2nd shift production employees to ensure high performance and engagement.
• Supervise day‑to‑day production operations to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets.
• Enforce safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Drive lean manufacturing practices and monitor production metrics (scrap, downtime, efficiency).
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams.
