You will support the Operations Manager in safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals, while partnering with Materials, QSG, IT and other departments.

This role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in manufacturing; strong leadership and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing, automotive, logistics, or related industrial environment.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Team Leaders to maximize employee engagement, productivity, and performance.
• Mentor and support Team Members in achieving individual, departmental, and organizational goals.
• Ensure accurate and timely attendance and timekeeping entries to support payroll accuracy.
• Communicate critical operational issues, risks, and performance updates to the Operations Manager.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow supervisors, managers, and support departments through regular communication and meetings.
• Promote accountability for workplace organization and compliance with housekeeping standards.
• Monitor equipment and facility damage, including forklift (Hi‑Lo) incidents, and drive accountability for safe operation and proper equipment use.
• Champion the company's culture by promoting safety, quality, efficiency, continuous improvement, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with established operational processes and procedures, including corrective actions, incident investigations, FIFO practices, inventory controls, and Min/Max requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem‑solving activities to identify and implement sustainable corrective actions for quality and operational issues.
• Foster a positive work environment built on mutual respect, teamwork, and employee engagement.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, including appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE), battery‑changing procedures, dock lock requirements, stack height standards, and other safety expectations.
• Support staffing requirements through schedule flexibility, including overtime and vacation coverage when necessary.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
