Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Enid, OK to lead a high-performing team in the Prepared Foods division. You will oversee daily production, quality, and yields while ensuring a safe working environment and USDA compliance.

You will hire, train, retain, and coach team members; monitor orders, staffing, and line maintenance; drive safety, continuous improvement, and accurate record keeping in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; vocational or college courses preferred.
• Experience: 1+ year in manufacturing and prior supervisory or line lead experience.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Special Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, strong work ethic; ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong team; hire, train, retain, counsel on personal/professional issues; educate on benefits and policies; lead stretch routines and rotate stations.
• Review daily production orders to ensure on-time fulfillment, accurate shipments, record keeping, and proper inventory coding.
• Ensure all workstations are staffed before production start and that machinery is functioning and USDA inspection is passed.
• Promote safety daily and through monthly safety meetings; oversee operations with other supervisors to resolve problems.
• Provide ongoing education on quality and perform other responsibilities as needed.
