Job summary

AJR Enterprises, a UFP Technologies company, is hiring a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift at our on-site facility in St. Charles, IL.

This full-time role oversees the hourly workforce, plans resources, schedules work, and ensures safety, quality and timely production. You will collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain and HR to meet customer demands, provide coaching and performance feedback, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years operations management experience in the manufacturing leadership role.
• Strong leadership with exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, multitask and prioritize workload.
• Take initiative with a demonstrated passion for getting the job done right.
• Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office; working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and organizes resources to meet organizational and customer goals.
• Schedules jobs/work orders to meet customer demands while maximizing efficiency.
• Provides direction and supervision to hourly workforce with safety, quality, and production targets.
• Completes reports on safety, production, quality and employee performance.
• Maintains communication and updates to production SOPs with Quality.
• Conducts safety training and other meetings to ensure high communication levels.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.
