Job summary

Surge Staffing is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for the Grenada, MS location, on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM). The role oversees daily production operations, enforces safety and quality standards, and drives continuous improvement while developing a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage schedules and coordinate with maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams to meet productivity

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication and people-management skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
• Proficiency with production reporting systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities on the second shift.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Train and develop team members to meet goals.
• Communicate priorities and changes in shift meetings.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse to resolve issues.
• Maintain shift records and productivity data.
