Job summary

DG Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor for 1st and 2nd shifts at our Hazlehurst, MS facility. You will oversee line operations, manage a shift, and report to the Production Superintendent to optimize efficiency, safety, and quality.

The role requires supervision of 15–35 staff, recruiting and training, and ensuring compliance with USDA, HACCP, SSOP and GPM policies while driving continuous improvement and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in field preferred.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced food production environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee line operations for the designated shift.
• Recruit, train, and motivate staff to maintain excellence.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance (USDA, HACCP, SSOP, GPM).
• Maintain plant security and asset protection.
• Set production goals and monitor performance against targets.
• Mentor and coach other supervisors for continuous improvement.
