Job summary

Etex is seeking a Production Shift Leader for our Maryville, TN facility to oversee shift operations, lead a production team, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency. You will coordinate with the Production Supervisor to meet KPIs and deliver results in a high‑performing manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced degree preferred.
• 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• 5+ years of production experience in a high-performance environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to resolve workplace conflicts.
• Proven ability to work cooperatively with others to meet operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Champion a safety culture and continuous improvement across the facility.
• Operate machinery and fulfill shift lead responsibilities as needed.
• Supervise operations; coach, mentor, and address performance concerns.
• Coordinate with management to resolve production, quality, and maintenance issues.
• Communicate shift plan and pass down information across shifts.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisor to manage safety, quality, and targets.
• Conduct mid-year and annual performance reviews and development planning.
• Enforce PPE compliance and safety regulations.
