Job summary

MI Windows and Doors LLC is seeking a Team Lead for the 2nd shift at the Hegins Plant. You will assist the Team Lead and cover supervisor duties in their absence, manage daily production needs, and support line performance on a 4x10 schedule (Mon-Thurs, 2:30pm-1:00am) with overtime as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of manufacturing experience. Strong communication, leadership, and computer skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret regulations and policies.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Strong teamwork and cross-department collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist team lead and cover duties in supervisor's absence.
• Review daily production needs and organize hot orders.
• Monitor attendance and cover for absent team members.
• Lead morning stand-up meetings and coordinate start-up issues.
• Ensure materials and supplies are available for lines.
• Oversee production flow and quality checks on start-up samples.
• Train new team members and ensure safety compliance.
• Shift lead during 2nd shift on 4x10 schedule; perform other duties.
