ScottsMiracle-Gro is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Jackson, GA facility. The role leads a multi-shift team of 20-30 hourly staff and up to 30 seasonal workers, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity while coordinating with plant leadership.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, performance evaluation, and enforcing policies. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in manufacturing with strong leadership and bilingual Spanish/English abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• 2-5 years overall manufacturing experience.
• Supervisory or lead experience highly desired, especially in associate development and safety.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, raw materials purchasing, inventory planning controls, sales or customer service.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to lead and train others.
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; strong computer skills; bilingual Spanish/English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 20-30 hourly full-time and up to 30 seasonal/temporary associates across multiple shifts.
• Assign work, train, interview, hire, evaluate, and schedule associates; enforce safety and company policies.
• Ensure quality and production efficiency; manage logs and reports; help monitor budget.
• Operate equipment alongside workforce and support Plant Manager on operations.
• Drive plant productivity and assist in achieving production goals.
